Enhance Your College Experience with Peer Support
A program for students, by students. Connect with resources to help you thrive.
What is the Peer Navigator Program?
- Supporting Students, Building Futures
- Did you know 1 in 5 students in the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) experiences housing insecurity? This program was created to address this and other challenges by training fellow students to help you find the support you need.
- Our mission is to Connect, Guide, and Empower. We train 40 LACCD students with lived experience to connect 1,200 of their peers to vital services, including:
- Housing & Financial Aid
- Academic & Mental Health Support
- Public Assistance & Employment Services
- Partnership Info: This program is managed by the City of LA's Youth Development Department (YDD) in partnership with Managed Career Solutions (MCS) and Para Los NiƱos (PLN) and is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor and the City of Los Angeles.
